I guess God is really pissed off about the painting I included here.
The thing that really cracks me up about this one is that it means that almost all art is right out. Any of it that depicts something alive, or just about anything recognizable.. So I guess Mark Rothko is probably OK…. But most of it is right out.
Let’s face it, the Sistine Chapel has to piss him off. Not only are humans on it, but there are angles, cherubs, and God himself. Who would have thought that one of the greatest works ever that was commissioned to glorify God, would actually be blatantly against on of God’s most basic set of rules.
