29:10 Behold, therefore I am against thee, and against thy rivers, and I will make the land of Egypt utterly waste and desolate, from the tower of Syene even unto the border of Ethiopia.
29:11 No foot of man shall pass through it, nor foot of beast shall pass through it, neither shall it be inhabited forty years.
I never can figure how Christians put so much stock in prophecy. I’d venture to say that most of it is flat out misses. This is a great example.
It says all of Egypt will be uninhabited for 40 years. Not just uninhabited….animals aren’t even supposed to go there. The tower it mentions as the boundary is no longer there, so it can’t be talking about the future. And quite obviously this never happened.
I don’t get it. Anyone with half a brain that reads the Bible will see the number of misses. I may just add a category for this and go with several posts. There is a lot of material here.
